A Peek At Last Night's Wedding

Here are some photos of the bridal party as they lined up to be introduced into the Grand Ballroom here at the Hawthorne Hotel last night.

These photos give you a glimpse at the beautiful wedding cake, and our staff as they put the finishing touches on the Grand Ballroom last night.

I hope you enjoy getting another look at what happens most every Saturday night at the Hawthorne Hotel.

May we help you plan a perfect wedding, too?

Weddings by Hawthorne Catering, Our Offsite Catering Division

I thought you would enjoy seeing this thank you email that we received regarding a recent wedding that we catered at PEM (the Peabody Essex Museum) here in Salem, Masschusetts:]

Hello Natalia and Lindsay,

I am back from my honeymoon and just wanted to send a quick note to let you know how wonderful the wedding was. We had such an amazing day and we will cherish the memories forever. Everyone at the PEM and Hawthorne Catering really helped our dreams become reality. We have received so many compliments from guests about the food and especially about how fantastic the venue is.

I am attaching some pictures that I thought you would both like to see. Let me know if you can not open them.

Thanks again!!

Behind the Scenes

Here you see Christine Turner, our Assistant Director of Catering, and in the second photo, our Banquet Manager, Liz Dube, helping with last minute arrangements for the wedding of Laura and Anthony.

In this photo you see, left to right, Frantzie, Laura, Patty and Adelfa, as they posed for my camera.

Today we had a wedding ceremony in the Ballroom at the Hawthorne Hotel. We "hid" the bride from the groom in my office, and I had a chance to take a few photos for the blog, which I thought you would enjoy.

Laura is a beautiful bride, and her attendants were so sweet and pretty -- it was a great opportunity.

I hope you enjoy this slice of wedding life here at the Hawthorne Hotel.
